Cayden Keltgen

Mr. Cayden Keltgen was appointed to serve as the Student Regent for the 2024 – 2025 term. Keltgen is a Nursing and A.A.S. Health Science Student at Walters State Community College. He graduated high school with honors and distinction in the summer of 2022 and began at Walters State that fall. 

As a two time National finalist in high school Speech and Debate, he continued his passion and gift for extemporaneous speaking upon enrolling at Walters State. He founded the College’s Speech Lab, open from 2022 to 2023, in response to students struggling with Communication courses regarding speech preparation, creation, and delivery. Currently, Keltgen serves on the Walters State Debate Team as Team Captain, Varsity Debater, and Club President. 

Keltgen works as a Nursing Technician at University of Tennessee Medical Center in addition to his time as a nursing tutor on the Walters State campus. Overall, Regent Keltgen is excited to use his experience as a college student in a technical program to expand TBR’s influence on student life as a member of the Board and the Workforce Development committee.
