TBR colleges have several education pathways that lead to fulfilling careers as emergency medical technicians and paramedics. Our colleges strive to meet the needs of employers by offering customizable, short-term training models to recruit, train, and upskill emergency medical professionals. These EMTs and paramedics are the frontline medical professionals in communities across our state.
TBR colleges offers several models to support EMS employers:
- Employer-Led Training with College Workforce Certificate
- EMS companies can offer education at their agency location and can use their own instructor with TBR curriculum and support or hire a college faculty member
- College provides support through program administration, curriculum development, and/or certification preparation
- TBR Educational Models
- EMS companies can strengthen or create new partnerships with existing colleges to deliver their EMT certification, AEMT certification, and paramedic certificate at the college site.
- EMS companies can work with at least one high school and college to strengthen or create new programs that allow high school students to earn their EMT credential by the time they graduate high school.
- EMS companies can strengthen or create new partnerships with TCATs to deliver their EMT workforce training programs to allow students to earn the EMT certificate.
