Regents to Meet May 12 to Consider PSCC President Appointment
The Tennessee Board of Regents will hold a telephonic meeting at 3 p.m. (CDT) Thursday, May 12, to consider Chancellor John Morgan’s recommendation that Dr. L. Anthony Wise Jr. be appointed president of Pellissippi State Community College. A copy of Wise’s resume is available online at http://www.tbr.edu/offices/chancellor.aspx?id=7022.
The committee will also consider for approval the recommended criteria for the search for a president of East Tennessee State University. Current president Paul Stanton announced his retirement effective January 14, 2012.

The Tennessee Board of Regents is the nation’s sixth largest higher education system, governing 46 post-secondary educational institutions. The TBR system includes six universities, 13 two-year colleges and 27 technology centers, providing programs in 90 of Tennessee’s 95 counties to more than 200,000 students.
The College System of Tennessee is the state’s largest public higher education system, with 13 community colleges, 24 colleges of applied technology and the online TN eCampus serving approximately 140,000 students. The system is governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
