TBR Schedules Three Committee Meetings for June 3
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 27, 2014) — Tennessee
Board of Regents Audit Committee, Ad Hoc Committee on Committees and Committee
Chairs meetings are scheduled at the TBR office in Nashville on Tuesday, June
3.
The Audit Committee meeting will begin at 10:30
a.m. CDT. The agenda includes:
I. Informational reporting
a.
Review of Comptroller's Office audit reports
b. Update
of corrective actions on performance audit findings
c.
Review of internal audit reports
II.
Review of revisions to fiscal year 2014 internal audit plans
III. Review of internal audit plans for fiscal year 2015
IV.
Discussion of compliance activities in system institutions
V. Non-public executive session
The Ad Hoc Committee on Committees will meet
immediately following the Audit Committee meeting to discuss goals and/or
mission statements of standing committees.
The Committee Chairs meeting will begin at
1 p.m. and address these agenda items:
I. Personnel and compensations issues
II. Legislative review
III. Update on business process model
IV. Update on TAACCCT grant application
V. Discussion of president emeritus contracts
VI. Review of finance and business issues
VII. Review academic affairs issues
VIII. Review draft of June board meeting agenda
The three meetings are open to the public and
the press with the exception of the non-public executive session of the Audit

The Tennessee Board of Regents is among the
nation's largest higher education systems, governing 46 post-secondary educational
institutions. The TBR system includes six universities, 13 community colleges
and 27 colleges of applied technology, providing programs across the state to
more than 200,000 students.
The College System of Tennessee is the state’s largest public higher education system, with 13 community colleges, 24 colleges of applied technology and the online TN eCampus serving approximately 140,000 students. The system is governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
