TN Council for Career & Technical Education Spring Meeting is May 1, 2025

The Tennessee Council for Career & Technical Education will hold its Spring Meeting May 1, 2025. The agenda includes review and approval of the Council’s By-Laws.

The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. CT in the first-floor board room at the Tennessee Board of Regents System Office, 1 Bridgestone Park, Nashville, TN 37214. The Tennessee Council for Career and Technical Education (TCCTE), which is administratively attached to the Board of Regents, is dedicated to advocating for top-tier Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and its mission is to ensure students are well-prepared for success in post-secondary education, their careers, and life.

The Council's responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and reporting on the distribution of spending for CTE in the state.
  • Assessing the availability of CTE activities and services within the state.
  • Advising the State Board of Education.
  • Providing reports to the governor, business community, and the public on enhancing CTE.
