Committee Chairs, Personnel & Compensation Committee, Audit Committee to meet May 31
The Tennessee Board of Regents committee chairs will meet May 31, 2023, to receive informational reports and review the draft agenda for the full board’s next quarterly meeting in June. The Personnel and Compensation Committee and Audit Committee also will meet following the committee chairs.
Chairs of the board’s standing committees will convene at 8:30 a.m. CT, Wednesday, May 31, with the other two committees meeting consecutively afterward. The meetings will be held by teleconferencing and will be live-streamed and archived on the TBR website at https://www.tbr.edu/board/may-31-2023-committee-chairs-personnel-compensation-and-audit-committee-meetings, except for a portion of the Audit Committee required by state law to be confidential. The committee chairs meeting is informational, with no votes or official action. The agenda includes external affairs and workforce development updates, a review of proposed new and revised policies, new academic programs, and a preview of finance and business operations and personnel and compensation matters that the full board will consider at its quarterly meeting June 15-16 at Chattanooga State Community College.
The Personnel and Compensation Committee will conduct regular committee business, including potential recommendations on systemwide compensation strategies for the next fiscal year.
The Audit Committee also will conduct regular committee business. Its agenda includes informational reporting by staff on various audit reports, findings, and recommendations, systemwide internal audit updates, university updates, FY 2023 internal audit plan revisions, and a review of the systemwide internal audit budget for FY 2024.
