TBR Meets Feb. 23 to Consider New TTC-Murfreesboro Director
The Tennessee Board of Regents will hold a telephonic meeting beginning at 3 p.m. CST on Thursday, Feb. 23, to review and act upon a recommendation to appoint Lynn Kreider as the director of the Tennessee Technology Center in Murfreesboro.Kreider is the former president at Colby Community College in Kansas. He holds a doctorate in education and a Master of Science degree from Wilmington University. Kreider also served as CEO/Chancellor of Louisiana Delta Community College from 2001-2006 and was dean of Professional and Technological Studies at Jackson State Community College in Tennessee from 1998-2001.The meeting is open to the public and the press as listeners. The College System of Tennessee is the state’s largest public higher education system, with 13 community colleges, 24 colleges of applied technology and the online TN eCampus serving approximately 140,000 students. The system is governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
