  Kea-Carroll recommended as next TCAT-Hohenwald Director; Board to vote Thursday NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 25, 2014) – Kelli Kea-Carroll is expected to be named the next director of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Hohenwald, Tenn., pending approval by the Tennessee Board of Regents on Thursday, May 1. The Board will meet via telephone at 2:45 p.m. CDT to consider TBR Chancellor John Morgan’s recommendation for Kea-Carroll to take over as the permanent director of the school. She has been serving as the interim director of TCAT-Hohenwald since January.“Ms. Kea-Carroll has demonstrated her commitment to the success of the students at TCAT-Hohenwald,” said Morgan. “I appreciate the search committee’s hard work and am pleased to make this recommendation.”Kea-Carroll has been with the college since 1994, when she supervised the practical nursing and surgical technology programs. She also coordinated recruitment and orientation efforts, as well as counseled students on a variety of issues. In 2002, she became the assistant director. In that role, she led efforts to open six off-campus teaching locations, developed strategic plans for the institution and was involved in planning, organizing and directing instructional programs at all campuses.
