Program Objectives

The TBR Critical Conversations Initiative is a multi-institution faculty and staff effort to expand awareness and provide sources of expert assistance in economic and community development throughout the state of Tennessee.  Specific objectives of the initiative include:

  • Establish a compendium of expert resources based on the Architected Choices Macromajors for the TBR Legislative Liaison
  • Share news about applied research, education, and services that further the body of scientific knowledge while building community and supporting economic and workforce development in Tennessee
  • Expand collaborative research opportunities across Tennessee
  • Recruit the next generation of Tennessee researchers into critical fields
  • Document the historical record of TBR research
