Subcouncils
Academic Affairs Subcouncil
The Academic Affairs Subcouncil is comprised of representatives from each community college and six representatives (2 representatives from each grand division) from the technical colleges in the Tennessee Board of Regents System who serve as the senior administrator with responsibility over the Academic Affairs program on that campus. The Academic Affairs Subcouncil is responsible for providing feedback and recommendations on academic policies, procedures, and services, and serves as a network for professionals to share information across the system. The Academic Affairs Subcouncil meets four times annually.
Faculty Subcouncil
The Faculty Subcouncil is comprised of faculty representatives from each community college and six representatives (2 representatives from each grand division) from the technical colleges in the Tennessee Board of Regents System. This committee is responsible for serving as a liaison between campus faculty and the Board of Regents on academic issues and policies. The Faculty Subcouncil meets four times annually.
