Troy Grant

Troy Grant serves as Vice Chancellor for Strategic Enrollment Management at the Tennessee Board of Regents, where he leads initiatives to enhance student recruitment, retention and success across the state's community and technical colleges.

His career in higher education spans more than two decades, including 15 years at the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. There, he rose through leadership roles to become Senior Director for College Access and Success, overseeing statewide programs that expanded educational opportunities for Tennessee students.

Grant previously served as Chief Scholars Officer at The Ayers Foundation and held positions at Tennessee State University, where he developed transfer student pathways, and at Trevecca Nazarene University as an admissions counselor. His early career included work as an account executive at BellSouth Telecommunications, bringing valuable relationship-building experience to his education leadership roles.

A two-time graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University, Grant holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business. His diverse background combines business acumen with a deep commitment to expanding college access and student success across Tennessee.
