Maps are helping people discover where they can find affordable and often much-needed medical care

TnAchieves, the forerunner of Tennessee Promise, offered students two years of community college tuition-free.

Roane State students are the first recipients of $1,250 NASA scholarships awarded to students at the college pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) fields. 

$10,000 donation for the W.H. Swain Scholarship Endowment provides scholarships for adult students enrolled at Roane State Community College’s Scott County campus.

A Maker Space provides equipment and tools entrepreneurs need to develop prototypes. 

The symposium for educators is for grade levels. Topics will include technology, teaching apps, and K-12 content-specific sessions. Sessions for guidance counselors and media specialists will also be offered.

Nine Roane State Community College students participated in the fall Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature (TISL) at the State Capitol in Nashville.
