The Tennessee Board of Regents will meet in regular quarterly session at Southwest Tennessee Community College’s Macon Cove Campus in Memphis on Thursday and Friday, June 28 and 29.Committee meetings will begin at 1 p.m. CDT June 28 in the Bert Bornblum Library. Committees will meet in this order: Tennessee Technology Centers; Finance and Business Operations; Personnel and Compensation; Academic Policies and Programs; and Business, Community and Public Affairs. The Finance and Business Operations Committee of the Tennessee Board of Regents will hold its next meeting beginning at 11 a.m. CDT on Thursday, May 24, at the TBR Central Office in Nashville.

The Tennessee Board of Regents unanimously approved Philip Oldham as the next president for Tennessee Technological University today.
Oldham will assume his leadership role July 1 after current president Bob Bell retires.
The Board met via telephone at 10:30 this morning to consider TBR Chancellor John Morgan’s recommendation for Oldham, who currently serves as provost and senior vice chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Philip Oldham is expected to be named the next president to lead Tennessee Technological University pending approval by the Tennessee Board of Regents on Friday.
The Board will meet via telephone at 10:30 a.m. CDT on Friday, May 4, to consider TBR Chancellor John Morgan’s recommendation for Oldham to replace Bob Bell, who will retire from TTU on July 1 after leading the campus for 12 years.
