Board of Regents receives update on student success initiatives, recommends capital outlay budget

The Tennessee Board of Regents today recommended $302.7 million in capital outlay funding for 12 major construction projects across the TBR system. The board, which convened at Chattanooga State Community College for its regular quarterly meeting, also heard preliminary Fall 2016 student enrollment numbers and updates on the system’s student success initiatives.

TBR to Meet in Regular Quarterly Session Sept. 15-16 in Chattanooga

The Tennessee Board of Regents will meet in its regular quarterly session on Sept. 15 and 16 at Chattanooga State Community College in Chattanooga. Committee meetings will begin Thursday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. EDT and run consecutively all afternoon. The full Board of Regents convenes at 9:30 a.m. EDT Friday, Sept. 16.
