The Tennessee Board of Regents is proud to announce the 10 community and technical colleges earning Postsecondary Aligned Advising (PAA) Endorsements for 2024. The endorsements recognize the outstanding efforts of colleges and their college access partners in providing exceptional support to students through aligned and comprehensive advising practices.

Community members, students, faculty, staff and administration gathered at Columbia State Community College’s Williamson Campus for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house Thursday, Feb. 29, to celebrate the completion of the new Arts and Technology Building.

The Tennessee Board of Regents will hold its next regular quarterly meeting June 16-17, at Columbia State Community College in Columbia. The agenda includes operating budgets and tuition for fiscal year 2022-23, capital budget requests for campus construction projects for fiscal year 2023-24, and several proposed policy changes.

Students attending Tennessee’s public community colleges and colleges of applied technology will see no tuition or fee increase during the upcoming academic year as a result of action today by the Tennessee Board of Regents.

More than 2,000 Fall Semester graduates were awarded their degrees and certificates at commencement ceremonies at several of our community and technical colleges in December.
About half of the 40 College System of Tennessee institutions hold Fall commencements. Fall Semester graduates of colleges without December ceremonies can participate in their college's Spring Semester graduation ceremonies, which are held at all the colleges.

Columbia State and Pellissippi State are two of the six finalists for the American Association of Community Colleges' Award of Excellence in Student Success. No other state has more than one finalist in any one of the six award categories. Columbia State is also one of five finalists for the Advancing Diversity award
