The Search Advisory Committee leading the Tennessee Board of Regents' search for the next president of Northeast State Community College has been appointed and will meet for its orientation session and a public forum Wednesday, April 27.
Board of Regents Member Miles Burdine will chair the 17-member committee. Other members are Board Members Emily J. Reynolds and Danni B. Varlan, and representatives of the college’s faculty, staff, students and alumni, and business and community representatives from Northeast Tennessee. The Search Advisory Committee leading the search for the next president of Volunteer State Community College has scheduled its first meeting and a public forum on Wednesday, April 28.
The forum is scheduled for 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. CT, with the committee’s meeting immediately following at 9:30 a.m. – both by teleconferencing due to health and safety precautions for the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Search Advisory Committee that will lead the search for a new president of Jackson State Community College has been selected and will meet Nov. 15 at the college, following a public forum to gather campus and community input.
The public forum is scheduled from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 15 in Room 111 of the Jim Moss Center for Nursing building on the college’s main campus at 2046 North Parkway, Jackson. Members of the public and the college community can express their views about the characteristics, qualities and skills the next president should have.

The Search Advisory Committee assisting in the search for a new president of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Pulaski will hold its orientation meeting and public forum Jan. 10 at the college’s main campus in Pulaski.
The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT in the college’s main administration and classroom building at 1233 East College Street, Pulaski. The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET Wednesday, Sept. 5 in Building A, Conference Room A, at the TCAT Knoxville main campus, 1100 Liberty Street, Knoxville. The meeting will open with a forum in which members of the public and college community can express their views about the search and the characteristics and skills the next president should have.
