Students, faculty and staff at Tennessee’s public community and technical colleges collected and donated the equivalent of 128,039 food items during the College System of Tennessee’s 25th Annual Food Drive Challenge, which wrapped up last week. The food and cash donations collected during the six-week challenge go to campus food pantries for students and to local organizations, programs and food banks serving their communities.

The Tennessee Board of Regents, in a special called meeting today, appointed Laura Travis as the next president of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Dickson. She will succeed retiring President Arrita Summers Dec. 1.

A search advisory committee has selected Laura Travis as the sole finalist for the next president of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Dickson. She will participate in a campus interview/public forum at TCAT Dickson Friday, Nov. 3, 2023.

The Tennessee Board of Regents today (Aug. 15, 2023) appointed Dr. Carol A. Rothstein as the seventh president of Jackson State Community College, effective Oct. 1.
